SPECIAL SERVICES:
If you are interested in talking about baptism, weddings, or funerals, or if you would like to meet for a quiet conversation and pastoral counselling, call Father Mark McDermott or Pastor Renée Desjardins at 905-878-2411.
  • Baptism: this rite marks an individual’s formal entry into the Christian family (the Church). People of all ages may be baptized. Baptisms are done as part of the 10 AM Sunday service on special days in the Church calendar. Candidates for baptism, or their sponsors, are invited to meet with one of the clergy to learn about and reflect on the meaning of the vows to be taken. Our expectation is that candidates will continue in their involvement with this congregation after the sacrament of baptism.
  • Marriage: weddings are conducted according to the rites in either the Book of Alternative Services or the Book of Common Prayer, to join one man and one woman in holy matrimony. Couples, including those who are not regular members of the church, are asked to attend a series of preparatory meetings to learn about and reflect on the meaning of the vows to be taken.
  • Funerals: We welcome the privilege of helping anyone in grief through funeral services and grief counselling.
